The Coronavirus

The Coronavirus is spread very quickly due to its spreading through the air.  Wearing masks is the best way to avoid the virus while social distancing.  Even if you take all the correct safety measures, sometimes it just isn’t enough.  The Coronavirus has been known to have mild effects but is dangerous to high-risk groups.  High-risk groups include elderly people as well as individuals with preexisting health conditions.

What Are The Symptoms?

The symptoms of COVID are symptoms that you have likely had in the past from being sick.  Because of the symptoms being familiar to you, it makes it hard to know whether you are sick or if you have the Coronavirus.  Concierge COVID testing Santa Monica is a great resource to use to be on the safe side if you are having these symptoms.  Symptoms of COVID include things such as a runny nose, fever, sore throat, loss of smell and taste, cough, and shortness of breath.  If you do not get treated properly, there are more serious symptoms that can develop over time.

Should You Get Tested For COVID?

Concierge COVID testing Santa Monica is a great thing to take advantage of if you want a COVID test or an antibody test.

Concierge COVID testing Santa Monica, IVology, can perform these tests for you.

What Should You Do?

There are many questions surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic and at this point, we have more

questions than answers.  Testing has gotten even more complicated with many different facilities

offering it.  How are you supposed to choose where to get tested?  How are you supposed to choose

if it is worth it to get tested?  There are a few main general rules to follow when it comes to wondering

if you should be tested.

If you are showing any of the symptoms, your best bet is to go get concierge COVID testing Santa Monica

Another reason to go get tested is if you have been informed that you have been in contact with someone

else who has tested positive.  These two things are the main identifiers for reasons to get tested.

Why Isn’t Everyone Tested?

The Coronavirus has really taken a toll on Americans and resources have started to get limited.

Because of this, you really have to take into consideration your symptoms and situations to determine

if it is worth it for you to be tested.  There are many high-risk people that will need that priority when

being tested.  People over the age of 65 or people already in bad health are more at risk of COVID taking

a harsher toll on them.

What Is The Test Like?

The nasal swab is the most effective way to determine if one is positive for COVID or not.  You will have

the option to do this at IVology with same-day results and or you can get the antibody test done to see if

you have had the virus in the past.  Antibodies are formed a couple of weeks after you have been

infected and might signal that you are more unlikely to get the virus again.

How Does It Work?

When you decide to get concierge COVID testing Santa Monica at IVology, you will book an appointment

online or by phone with full payment.  Then, you will come to the facility, go into the parking garage to a

designated spot, and then call.  A nurse will come down shortly after to perform the test all while you sit

in the car.  You will have the results given to you by the end of that same day.
